While the row rumbles on about that logo - the Olympic site is being prepared stone by stone - the branding makes no real difference to a hole in the ground after all. Some rather exciting discoveries have been made in an excavation of the Lower Lea Valley where archaeologists have been uncovering evidence of the role East London played in the defence of the capital during the Second World War.
