It's not only a good place to shop but also to meet people as a lot of locals do. There are some great options for lunch for the equivalent of about $5 Australian. Here you're pretty much in the centre of town, a minute or so walk from the flea markets and a few minutes from the fresh fish market where you can pick up the best Samoan sea food right off the boats. There is a major bus station adjacent to the markets.
