Antony Costa is the latest ex-Blue star to put his boyband days behind him as he launches his solo career. He's admitted that the success of Blue will be hard to follow, but hopes the fans will still lend their support. 'I mean, the success, the fans all around the world, it's been amazing,' he said. 'But hopefully, the people who have supported Blue will be able to support each of us in our solo careers.' He added: 'I think it's very important that they do that because it gives us an incentive one day to get back together as a band.' When asked if his solo career could be successful, he said: 'It is a very hard business now and you have to be on TV everyday to 15 million viewers to gain the public vote...it's not about the music anymore which is a shame. 'But the music like I'm doing will speak for itself and fingers crossed, will do well.' Antony has signed a five album deal with Universal Records, and his debut album is expected to hit shelves in March.
