Anniversary of Khomeini's return

Khomeini had been sentenced to exile after criticising the Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi , during a sermon in 1963. Khomeini agreed to return to Iran until the Shah left the country. On January 16th the Shah left for a holiday and never returned, 16 days later, Khomeini arrived in Tehran.
