Anniversaries: Remembrance Day: Ceremonies

Trafalgar Square has been the backdrop for a host of Armistice Day events. Crowds joined veterans from both world wars for a two minutes silence at eleven o'clock. Tributes were also given in the form of song, poetry and an RAF flypast. It's all part of a series of events taking place across the capital to honour the war dead.
