Angry Sderot Residents Demonstrate In Jerusalem And Call On Olmert To Resign

Hundreds of Sderot residents left their homes in the Negev town to demonstrate in Jerusalem on Sunday. Protesters called on the government and Prime Minister Ehud Olmert to step down. Carrying signs with statements decscribing the government as a failure and demand the prime minister resign, they blocked the entrance to the capital before continuing to the Prime Minister's Office where they continued to demonstrate under a heavy police presence.02/10/08
