Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie has entered the Madonna adoption row, saying she would never have a child from Malawi. The actress and mother-of-three, two of which are adopted, said in an interview that when she and her partner Brad Pitt adopt again, Africa will not be not on their list. She said: "It's a country where there is no real legal framework for adoption."Personally, I prefer to stay on the right side of the law. I would never take a child away from a place where adoption is illegal."Despite her comments, Jolie did express some sympathy for the criticism Madge has received in the wake of her adoption of African child David Banda. She added: "I have been horrified by the attacks she's been subjected to. All that should count is the happiness of her little David."Meanwhile, Jolie and Pitt are also thought to have signed up for a second instalment of Mr and Mrs Smith.© Independent Television News Limited 2007.
