Andy's journey: Binman to pop star

X Factor finalist Andy Abraham has the real life rags-to-riches story. Crooner Andy was working as a binman when his wife forged his signature on an X Factor application form - and how glad he is she did- he now has a new single and album ready for release. During the X Factor Andy serenaded audiences with his smooth tones to classics such as When A Man Love's A Woman and Nat King Cole's Unforgettable, but now Andy is back and he has his own sound. The 41-year-old Londoner has finished his debut album and his new single Hang Up hits the shops on March 27. Andy told us: 'I think it surprised a lot of people that I've come out with an up-tempo, very happy, very dancefloor-ish song. 'It makes me think of being in a car, roof down, go for that drive, hot day - it's got a feel good factor. Andy says his album is aimed at all ages and has it's own distinct sound. He said: 'The album is very much something for everybody. It's very soul based, there's up-tempo, there's slow songs - it's a mixture of everything for all ages.' Andy's album, The Impossible Dream, is released March 20.
