PKG China's second largest freshwater lake in central Hunan Province has been suffering severe drought. Its water levels have plummeted, meaning its renowned scenery is disappearing. In fact, officials say Dongting Lake has shrunk in size by one third. The dwindling size of the lake has greatly affected the scenery surrounding Yueyang Tower, a renowned ancient tower.
