Alonzo Mourning - Jersey Retirement Speech

On Monday night the Heat retired the first jersey in the franchise's 21-year history. Alonzo Mourning will have his No. 33 hanging from the rafters from now on. The center from Georgetown played nearly 600 games with Miami and was part of the 2006 championship team. Things to note in this video: Tim Hardaway makes a rare public appearance. The Ring that Zo is wearing is absolutely huge and it makes sense why they couldn't go for a repeat (not enough space). Michael Beasley cracks me up by looking like a little kid in the background. The emotions can't penetrate Wade's game face. And it's ironic to think that after all those battles with the Knicks, it's Zo who gets a ring, not Patrick. . . The Heat would go on to lose this game unfortunately.
