Alleged 'Craigslist killer' pleads not guilty to killing masseuse

BOSTON (AP) - A former Boston medical student accused of killing a masseuse he met through Craigslist has pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder and other charges. Philip Markoff stared straight ahead and his attorney did not object to him being ordered held without bail during the arraignment in Suffolk Superior Court. Prosecutors say the 23-year-old upstate New York native lured Julissa Brisman of New York City to a Boston hotel in April after she advertised in the "exotic services" section on Craigslist. read more
