Al Sadd looking for ASL home town glory Qatari footballing club Al-Saad will attempt to reach the semi-finals of the Asian Champions League for the first time on Wednesday. They were given a huge boost when their opponents, Sepahan, fielded an ineligible player in the first leg in Iran giving the Qataris a one goal deficit that translated into a three nil win. This is the second time Al-Sadd have reached this stage of the tournament and they hope that a home ground advantage will spell success.
