Fazul Abdullah Mohammed was the most wanted man in Africa by the United States, with a five million bounty on his head. He was killed earlier this week in a shootout in Somalia's capital Mogadishu. PKG The Somali government on Saturday confirmed that Fazul Abdullah Mohammed and another militant were shot dead by Somali forces on Tuesday, after they refused to stop at a roadblock. The Somali troops initially failed to discover Mohammed's identity as he was carrying a South African passport bearing a different name. The bodies were buried, but officials later exhumed them after checking Mohammed's documents.
