And even less people use improved sanitation facilities in Afghanistan.One of the reasons for the problem is that the country's water supply system had been badly damaged in the past three decades of war. Afghan environment authorities are worrying that a worsening pollution is threatening the country's remaining water sources.Afghan Health Ministry estimates that three thousands people die from water and air pollution every year in capital Kabul alone.
