www.dajokerz.com www.afg-recordz.afgboy.com Da Jokerz consist of: (Abdul Ali 21 years and Ismality 19 years) This 2 political refugees have fled from their country Afghanistan during the civil war and have left everything behind to rebuild a new peaceful life in the Netherlands. After spending months in refugee camps, music became the only outlet to the trauma of past experience. In the year 2000, the fate brought this 2 Afghans in Apeldoorn together. Since then it immediately clicked between them because they both had the same experience, and they both want to strive the same goal namely: Expressing their lives throughout music and sharing it with their fellow human beings. In 2003 Abdul Ali and Ismality decided to work seriously with music, it is also in the same year that they named themself 'Da Jokerz'. Da Jokerz is the appropriate group for these political refugees, as a Joker wants nothing more to say than a fellow traveler who entertains people with his life story. After many performances and events saw Da Jokerz that many people, including many refugees felt their music for their originality and emotion that they express during the performances. At present, Da Jokerz released 2 mixtapes released in 3 languages.(Check da music section). Not only their background and past makes Da Jokerz unlike all other rappers/artists, but also their language skills makes them special. They rap in 3 languages: Dutch, English and Afghan (dari).
