Here we see the FDNY's newest piece of equipment. Engine 3, housed with Tower Ladder 12, Battalion 7, and High Rise 1 on 19th Street between 6th and 7th Avenue (closer to 7th Avenue), just received a brand new sparkling shining 2000gpm Seagrave pumper today. The engine has only been on 2 runs so far. Here, I am admiring it for a few moments, until BEEEEEDOOOO....ENGINE! It gets called on its third ever run. It's an EMS call to a man unconscious at 357 West 12th Street. The engine comes to life with more lights than a Christmas tree. I know I sound like a goob asking to hear the Federal EQ2B, but I like the noise it makes. Anyway, it makes a nice exit from the house as it goes to revive the man down.
