The musical version of spoof TV soap opera Acorn Antiques is going on tour.The show has been playing in Salford recently, but now it is going on a tour of 20 venues.It is the first time Victoria Wood has sat in the director's chair, but she doesn't miss treading the boards.She said: "It's been really good to do a new version, to give it a new life to have new people in it. It's been really interesting."The show follows the fortunes of the employees at the fictional antiques shop in Manchesterford, including Miss Babs, Miss Berta and Mrs Overall.© Independent Television News Limited 2007.
