Acid Reflux, Bile Reflux: Ask Dr. Mona

Question for Dr Mona: Dr. Mona- Do I have acid reflux, bile reflux, or both?? Help me out here please? My G.I. doctor gave me prevacid, aciphex, and some over the counter medicine like maloxx. None of this seems to work. He diagnosed me with acid reflux but I feel like the medicine he gave me should have helped. Instead my stomach and throat catch fire and I feel like something is stuck in my throat- it hurts bad and I constantly have the urge to throw up due to nausea and my throat. I took zantac recently and that seemed to help more than prevacid or acidphex...what the heck is it??? Check out this video for Dr. Mona's answer!
