For the numeracy stream of the VCAL program which also included some students on the LLNP program we had planned to use a whole range of strategies from desktop applications including games and other learning materials to participatory web sites to remote desktop applications. br /We ended up using a data projector google earth and a range of simple web quests for information on a range of topic including aust biggest morning tea velocity and speed cars housing the city of melbourne and more. br /We used creative commons licensed images from flickr to stimulate discussion and engage peoples interest as well as mindmapping software to document and organise learners thoughts during these discussions.
