ACAAI Accolade Recepient, Dr. Emil Barnana On Behalf Of Workers' Comp Insurer
In November of 2009, the American College of Asthma, Allergy and Immunology ("ACAAI") recognized Dr. Emil Bardana for his contributions as an influential leader among the "non-profit" trade associations of America's allergists. ACAAI presented Dr. Bardana with the Gold Headed Cane Award for his contributions stating that he is an "allergist who has demonstrated the highest standards of scientific excellence and integrity while serving as a Fellow of the College for at least 20 years. [The Gold Headed Cane Award] is designed to serve as an inspiration to younger doctors and encourage them in their family, social, civil, religious and professional lives."~~~~When describing Dr. Bardana's accomplishments and activities over the years, the ACAAI failed to disclose that Dr. Bardana is a prolific expert witness for the defense of the insurance industry in toxic torts.~~~~~ As evidenced in the above video, along with being recognized among his peers and Merck Pharmaceutical as an influential leader of United States allergists; Dr. Bardana is also publicy recognized for his unique methods of "Independant" Medical Examinations on behalf of insurers of workers claiming on the job injuries.
