About Clamps A C clamp is the most common type. The threaded handles allows you to clamp things together and hold things in place. It is slow but extremely versatile. A quick grip that has a release trigger and column with sliding grip end allows you to clamp objects very fast. These are handy to have around. Other clamps include spring clamps and vice grips. A bench vice can be used for metal or wood work. These are very strong clamps and can be used for many things.
