Pres. Thomas Jefferson warned us that if we wanted perpetual wars, we should create a "central bank." (We created the Federal Reserve, a "central bank" in 1913. Have we had "perpetual wars" since then?) Karl Marx, the communist, said that "if he could get a central bank, he could destroy the middle class."
