ABA Pres. explains how Bush evaded 'McCain Amendment'

In this clip, ABA President Michael Greco explains how Bush evaded bills such as the 'McCain Amendment.' While President Bush has only ever vetoed one bill while in office, as it turns out, he's wiggled his way around plenty of other pieces of legislation. 807 pieces, to be exact. Before President Bush came into office in 2001 there were about 600 signing statements by various presidents. The American Bar Association's Task Force on Presidential Signing Statements and the Separation of Powers Doctrine found that Bush has created 807 of his own in just five years.
