A tsar‘s photographer

For years Pierre Gilliard was the teacher of Tsar Nicholas the second’s children. The Swiss was also a hobby photographer and took snapshots of the last Russian tsar’s family going about their daily life. The pictures are on show at the national historical museum in Moscow. (SF/swissinfo)
