A Moonraker 4 Antenna in the Wind After the Strong Prevailing Winds Had Past 6-10-09

Avanti Moonraker and PDL II parts can be purchased at Moonraker-4.com It was whipping around in the strong prevailing winds much more than it is here. By the time I got the camera to take the video the wind had died down a lot. It's mounted on an 8 foot 1-1 Dia. solid fiberglass rod with 7 feet above the 2" aluminum tubing with the boom at 50 feet high. I have a 2" OD x 1-1/2" ID fiberglass tube on the way to go over the solid rod to stiffen it up some. It will eventually be a 4 or 5 element quad antenna.
