A Jonas Brothers Romance--Chapter Thirty Nine
**Last chapter, Regina and Kat went through the tunnel to get Clary.... followed by Aly. They found Clary and Kat was grabbed by a couple of boys. Aly was running off to help her and Regina was trying to figure out how to get Clary out of the circle of flames without getting hurt.... Will they all make it?! Read on!** Aly: YOU GET CLARY! I'LL GET KAT! *runs toward the boys holding Kat* Regina: *thinking as fast as possible on how to get Clary out of there... the fire was reaching above her head now* Aly: *ducks the first boy's wild punch and comes back up to punch him in the chest* TAKE THAT! KAT WAKE UP!!!! Boy 2: *drops Kat's body and comes after Aly* Aly: *backs away as fast as she can* Boy 2: *suddenly speeds up and grabs Aly around the waist and runs into the wall, slamming her against it* Aly: *gasps in pain as she collapses to the floor* Boy: *leans over to grab her* Aly: I DON'T THINK SO! *lashes out with her foot and the boy falls on his face. She stands up* AND STAY DOWN! Boy: *grabs her ankle and pulls it so she falls* Aly: *kicks his shoulder and he lets go of her foot* DON'T YOU DARE TOUCH ME AGAIN! *gets back up and stamps on his hand when he reaches out to try the same trick* You never give up, do you? Boy: *swings his feet to knock Aly down* Aly: *jumps over his feet and punches him in the face* Much better. *runs to see if Kat is okay* Come ON! Wake up! *shakes Kat and hears Regina and Clary both scream in pain. She turns to see what happened* ***This is going on at the same time that Aly was fighting the boy...*** Clary: *screams in fear as the flames inch closer to her* HELP! Regina: *running around the circle of flames to try to find a way in without getting burned* Clary: PLEASE! Regina: *looks frantically around the room for something to douse the flames with. Nothing* Clary: *starts crying* Regina: *grabs her pocket knife off the ground so she'll be able to cut Clary off the pole* Clary: *screams again* Regina: *runs through the flames, but refrains from screaming in pain as the fire catches on her clothes* Clary: REGINA?! Regina: *slashes through the ropes on Clary and they both jump out of the circle of fire* *They both scream in pain and Aly turns to see what happened* Aly: REGINA! CLARY! *runs over to them* Regina: *trying to pat the fire off her arms and legs* Clary: *gets the fire to stop crawling up her leg and turns to help Regina* Regina: *crying in pain as the fire creeps further up her sleeve* Aly: CLARY! THE SLEEVES! Clary: *starts patting Regina's sleeves as Regina pats her legs* Regina: *screams in pain as the fire reaches almost to her right shoulder* GET IT OFF! Aly and Clary: *help her get the shirt off her* Regina: *throws the shirt into a corner and watches as it shrivels up in seconds* Aly: *takes off her sweatshirt and hands it to Regina* Regina: *takes the sweatshirt and puts it on* Thanks. *looks at her pants and sees that her left pant leg was only slightly singed. But her right leg was burned almost up to the knee* That was horrible! *shivers* Clary: *runs to Kat as she starts getting up* Kat! Are you okay?! Kat: CLARY! *throws her arms around her* I WAS SO SCARED! I saw you... and the fire.... *notices the singed edges on Clary's pants* You... but... how? Clary: regina ran through the fire to get me out.... her shirt got completely burned..... Kat: *her head snaps up to look at Regina* REGINA! Regina: *trying to stop crying* I'm fine Kat... really. I had to get Clary out of there..... Kat: You almost cooked yourself! Clary: It was so scary! Aly: *helps Regina stand up* We need to get you something to treat the burns. Regina: Yeah. *stands up and winces* Ow... Kat: BEHIND YOU! Aly: *lets go of Regina and spins to see Jonathan right before he grabbed her* You think you're getting away this easy? Kat: *stands up* LET. HER. GO. Jonathan: *grips Aly's arms tighter* I don't think I will. Aly: *throws her head back and hits him on the nose* Jonathan: *drops her in surprise* Aly: *spins around and grabs his arm to throw him across the room... right toward Kat* Kat: *smiles as he lands at her feet* Hello Jon. Long time no see. *kicks his head and he rolls away, unconscious* Now lets get Regina something for those burns. And I bet the boys are terrified! *Kat and Aly get on either side of Regina to help her walk and Clary walks in front of them. They reach the trap door and Clary goes down first. Then Kat. Then Aly helps Regina through and then she follows too* **WOW! That was scary!! Thank god they all lived! Will Regina's burns heal? Will they ever be safe from Jonathan?
