KANDAHAR, Dec 26, 2010: Nine people held on minor charges at an American detention centre in central Parwan have been released, a senior official said on Sunday.He said the detainees were freed in respect to a recently established High Peace Council aimed at bringing Taliban and other armed opposition groups back to the mainstream.
