Eight teenagers were injured when their car plunged about 200 feet down a steep embankment early Friday morning, officials said. The Nissan Sentra crammed with at least eight boys and girls aged 13 to 18, two of them in the trunk, tumbled off Mulholland Drive near the Sherman Oaks section of Los Angeles at about 2:20 a.m., said fire Battalion Chief Lou Roupoli.
