8:50pm - Extrication efforts continue in 'T' crash

(NECN) - Efforts to extricate the conductor of an MBTA train involved in a collision in Newton, Massachusetts continued under floodlights on Wednesday evening. Nearly three hours after the collision between two outbound Green Line trolleys, fire crews were still trying to free the operator, although her condition was not known. At least nine people were treated at local hospitals in the crash, which happened between the Waban and Woodland stations.
