From Xinhua News Agency: STORY: 675 kg DRUGS DESTROYED IN UZBEKISTAN DATELINE: June 25, 2011 LENGTH: 0:00:35 LOCATION: Tashent VO Uzbekistan's National Security Service on Friday burned 675 kilograms of seized drugs. They destroyed 164 kg of heroin and 348 kg of opium in the presence of members of the State Commission for Drug Control and representatives of the UN Office on Drugs and Crime. Uzbekistan began destroying drugs in 1994. So far, it has destroyed 48 tons of drugs.
