Once banned from the Central Wales line due to their heavy axle loading, it's always a treat to see a 67 working this route. Today was an even more unusual event to see two of the Class 67029 'Royal Diamond' with it's unique Silver livery, and EWS liveried 67016 working a Rail-Blue Charter, and this being 1Z34 The Welsh Victorian Explorer return working from Llandrindod Wells to Lincoln. We see this beautifully kept train cautiously arriving at Ffairfach, in Carmarthenshire, South Wales, where the driver sets the crossing over the busy A483 road, before making a spirited start for the journey down to Pantyffynnon.
