According to the Ministry of Public Security Monday, inflammable chemicals, forbidden being carried onboard, caused the blaze. The accident happened last Friday morning in Xinyang City of Henan Province. A total of 47 people were on board when the 35-seat bus caught fire on the Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway. The double-decker sleeper bus was on its way from the city of Weihai in eastern Shandong Province to central Hunan's provincial capital Changsha. It's the deadliest bus accident in years. In response, the government of Henan Province launched thorough safety overhaul on Sunday to curb severe traffic accidents.
