4th of July Apple Pie Turnovers

This week I'm featuring an easy cooking/baking recipe for my apple pie turnovers. These are great to take to a Fourth of July picnic because guests can pick it up and eat it with their hands. Recipe Ingredients & Supplies: Puff Pastry 3 Golden Delicious apples 1 Lime cornstarch ground cinnamon nutmeg salt white sugar brown sugar Non-stick surface for baking (silpat, parchment paper, etc) cutting board knife apple corer (optional) grater/zester measuring spoons 2 bowls
