A commuter plane has crashed into a house in the small hamlet of Clarence New York, a suburb of Buffalo, N.Y., overnight, killing all 49 people on board and one person on the ground . This is the nation's first fatal crash of a commercial aircraft in 2 1/2 years. The National Transportation Safety Board spokesman Steve Chealander has said "it's too early to tell" the cause of the crash. Chealander added that the NTSB's first task was to recover the flight data recorders from the plane.
