From Xinhua News Agency: (0818 CR M09)31-VEHICLE PILEUP KILLS 6DATELINE: Aug.18, 2011LENGTH: 00:00:46VOA pileup involving 31 vehicles happened Thursday morning in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, leaving six killed and five injured.The pileup is the result of seven accidents occurring in a section of an express way linking the country's capital Beijing and southwestern Tibet Autonomous Region.According to local police, thirty-one cargo trucks rear-ended each other on a 2-km-long section of the expressway in Xinghe County. Most of the vehicles were semitrucks loaded with coal.It has also caused a traffic jam of 40 kilometers in the express way.
