24 Hour "All News" Radio: The Pros & Cons

He's a YouTuber that is affiliated with and follows TV and radio stations mainly in central and South Florida. He sent me a request asking me to do a video about my thoughts on All-News radio since it seems to be a lost art in some markets. I take all requests...and deliver! Thanks for his and if you have one, hit me back with what you want me to talk about! All-News radio is a type of format that doesn't bother with the talk and opinion that you hear from some (mainly conservative) or progressive talk stations. They simply report the news as it happens with an objective focus. I think it is refreshing that you have some of these stations still around since it can get a little irritating listening to the constant one-sided approach that the conservative and liberal talkers have. Many of the All-News stations are owned and operated by CBS. CBS has a clear advantage over the other radio owners since they have a national (and international) news division all their own. They use this (in many markets) in conjunction with their local TV affiliates for the TV side of CBS. Their advantage is obvious when compared to Cumulus, Cox, Radio One, Salem, Entercom, and other owners except for Univision.
