On the eve of Ronnie Siebok's execution, Hanson asks him to make a video encouraging the kids in his old neighborhood to steer clear of crime. When Ronnie refuses, telling Hanson they could do a lot worse, he remembers the events leading up to his execution. As the leader of a gang in control of his neighborhood's criminal activity, Ronnie is challenged by Dary Washington, a new kid looking to get a piece of the action. However, unknown to Ronnie, Dary is an undercover cop working with Jump Street. When they argue over a drug buy, Ronnie shoots and kills Dary, finding himself the focus of an intense manhunt.
