I'm Joslyn Davis for ClevverTV with the rewind on last night's Grammy Award show. Overall, I've gotta say that the performances were off the hook, but when it came to the actual award winners, I think it's safe to assume that a lot of fans out there were a bit surprised. Not that's not to say that the winners weren't deserving of their trophies, however insiders are still buzzing about a few categories in particular. First up is Album of the Year, which went to an amazing group -- if you're not familiar with them -- you must check them out -- Arcade Fire took home what many consider the night's top honor for the their album, The Suburbs. They beat out others including Katy Perry, Eminem, Lady Gaga and the night's overall champion Lady Antebellum. Speaking of which, Lady A rocked the house, nabbing a whopping 5 grammys. However the biggest upset of the night, and the award that has everyone scratching their heads was the award for Best new artist went to Esperanza Spalding. Many Grammy viewers were not familiar with the singer prior to her win for an award that many thought Justin Bieber was shoe-in for. Of course Beliebers continue to be beside themselves with sadness.
