2003: Notre Dame vs. Pittsburgh

Kind of a prelude to the 2009 match-up in November. In 2003, the Fighting Irish stunned the ranked Panthers (led by Larry Fitzgerald) at Heinz Field, 20-14. ND RB Julius Jones had a day for the ages, outshining Larry Fitzgerald as he ran for 262 yards (single-game ND record) and 2 TDs. The Panthers, however, managed only 8 yards all game on the ground while Fitz was shut down in the second half.
