the Kennedy Center Awards 2010 for performing artists who are good in talent as well as in the world. the 2010 Kennedy Center Awards honoring Sir Paul McCartney. various musicians including James Taylor, Steven Tyler, Dave Grohl, Gwen Stefani and No Doubt band pay tribute to Paul as a Beatles, leader of Wings and solo musician. Alex Baldwin comedian/actor from The Office also did a funny speech about the Beatles. Attending the event were both Obamas, Hilary Clinton, Caroline Kennedy, various senators, Glee's Mathew Morison, honorees Oprah WInfrey, Bill T Jones, Merle Haggard, Paul's girlfriend Nancy Chevell, Steven Tyler's girlfriend, and many more big names as well as ordinary people who payed $2500 for tickets. the show was broadcast on CBS 12/28/10 and various clips are available at cbs.com. about 9.8 million people watched the awards making it the 2nd most viewed program on tv dec. 28!
