1988 Creswell HS Baseball Tribute

It had been 26 years since Creswell had produced a baseball team that won their league title. The Bulldogs avoided a co-championship with Glide that year in the final game against the same team, winning a seventh-inning, come-from behind solo home run by Joe Hillis and double by Rick Buss. The team went on to beat Philomath in the first round of the State Playoffs, then lost to Phoenix in the second round. Phoenix next took on and lost the eventual state champion Hood River. This video, which is a bit jerky and has lost some quality over the years, shows highlights from the Philomath and Phoenix games. Enjoy!
