13 years later, Lopes' sentencing

(Latoyia Edwards, NECN) - Friday is the sentencing of Arnaldo Lopes, the man convicted for killing a neighbor more than a decade ago, setting off a wave of violence in Boston's Cape Verdean community. Lopes admitted to stabbing neighbor Bobby Mendes. This admission came in court on back in September. Lopes is hoping that the judge will take into account how he has changed his life since the incident. NECN's Latoyia Edwards has the story in the video player above.
