12 Apostel-Andacht: Politikerkanzel 10 - Lesung Lukas-Evangelium, Kapitel 12
Lukas 12, 16-26 16 Und er sagte ihnen ein Gleichnis und sprach: Es war ein reicher Mensch, dessen Feld hatte gut getragen. 17 Und er dachte bei sich selbst und sprach: Was soll ich tun? Ich habe nichts, wohin ich meine Früchte sammle. 18 Und sprach: Das will ich tun: Ich will meine Scheunen abbrechen und größere bauen und will darin sammeln all mein Korn und meine Vorräte 19 und will sagen zu meiner Seele: Liebe Seele, du hast einen großen Vorrat für viele Jahre; habe nun Ruhe, iss, trink und habe guten Mut! 20 Aber Gott sprach zu ihm: Du Narr! Diese Nacht wird man deine Seele von dir fordern; und wem wird dann gehören, was du angehäuft hast?21 So geht es dem, der sich Schätze sammelt und ist nicht reich bei Gott. 22 Er sprach aber zu seinen Jüngern: Darum sage ich euch: Sorgt nicht um euer Leben, was ihr essen sollt, auch nicht um euren Leib, was ihr anziehen sollt. 23 Denn das Leben ist mehr als die Nahrung und der Leib mehr als die Kleidung. 24 Seht die Raben an: sie säen nicht, sie ernten auch nicht, sie haben auch keinen Keller und keine Scheune, und Gott ernährt sie doch. Wie viel besser seid ihr als die Vögel! 25 Wer ist unter euch, der, wie sehr er sich auch darum sorgt, seines Lebens Länge eine Spanne zusetzen könnte? 26 Wenn ihr nun auch das Geringste nicht vermögt, warum sorgt ihr euch um das andre? 27 Seht die Lilien an, wie sie wachsen: sie spinnen nicht, sie weben nicht. Ich sage euch aber, dass auch Salomo in aller seiner Herrlichkeit nicht gekleidet gewesen ist wie eine von ihnen. 16 And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully:17 And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits? 18 And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods. 19 And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. 20 But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? 21 So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God. 22 And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on. 23 The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment. 24 Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls? 25 And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit? 26 If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest? 16-19 E deu um exemplo: "Certo homem rico possuía uma propriedade fértil que dava boas colheitas. Assim os seus celeiros ficaram a transbordar, e não podia guardar tudo lá dentro. O homem pôs-se a pensar no problema. Por fim, exclamou: 'Já sei, vou deitar abaixo os celeiros e construir outros maiores. Assim terei espaço suficiente. Depois direi comigo mesmo: 'Amigo, armazenaste o bastante para os anos futuros. Agora, repousa e come, bebe e diverte-te.'20 Mas Deus disse-lhe: 'Louco! Esta noite vais morrer; e para quem fica tudo isso?' 21 Sim, louco é quem acumula riquezas na Terra mas não é rico em relação a Deus." 22-24 E, voltando-se para os discípulos: "Não se preocupem com o ter ou não comida suficiente e roupa para vestir, porque a vida é muito mais do que o comer ou o vestir. Olhem os corvos: não plantam, não colhem, não têm celeiros para armazenar alimento, e mesmo assim vivem, porque é Deus quem os sustenta. E vocês valem muito mais do que aves! 25-26 Além disso, qual é a vantagem de nos preocuparmos? Porventura irá isso acrescentar um só dia que seja à vossa vida? Claro que não! E se a preocupação não ajuda nem sequer a realizar coisas pequenas, qual é a vantagem de nos preocuparmos com coisas maiores?
