(DHA) Gun salutes were fired in various places in Turkey following Abdullah Gul being elected the 11th President of the country. 101 gun salutes were fired by the Aegean Army and Garrison Command in Izmir. Salutes were also fired by the 3rd Corps Command in Erzincan... In Adana, the municipality brass band gave a concert as well...
