This screencast introduces into the Open Source application called "TimeFinder" (v4) available at timefinder.de It introduces the Java application which can automatically optimize timetables of schools and universities. The screencast shows how to manually create data or import from xml/text files. After this the timetable optimizer will be shown, which is the most powerful part of the application. As you will see it is one simple click where an human timetabler would need days. At the end it is shown how you can import from data of a German University and how TimeFinder optimizes this data.
