PKG Residues of a manganese plant in Songpan County, Mianyang City, were washed into the Fujiang River by heavy rains that hit the city last Thursday. However, according to the city government, monitors of the local environment bureau did not detect the pollution until Tuesday. On the same day, the government warned citizens not to drink tap water.
