From Xinhua News Agency: (0714 CR M02)OILFIELD RESUMES WORK DATELINE: July 14, 2011 LENGTH: 00:00:49 VO An oilfield located off the coast of north China resumed production on Wednesday after it was discovered to be leaking oil Tuesday morning. According to the China National Offshore Oil Corporation, or CNOOC, an oil slick in the Suizhong 36-1 oilfield, located in north China's Bohai Bay, has been cleaned up. An emergency alert for the region has also been lifted. The oil spill occurred early Tuesday morning when the centralized control system used to operate the oilfield's central platform broke down. The has been the third accident that happened to the China's largest offshore oil producer over the past week.
