As a Eurocopter helicopter made a smooth landing on the tarmac lot, the Badaling Airport in suburban Beijing came to life again this week. The Badaling Airport has a 800-meter-long runway and a 2,000-square-meter parking tarmac. It is so far the only privately-funded facility in Beijing dedicated to general aviation.
