Weather forecast says there will be more strong rainstorms, bringing floods pressure on major riverbanks. China Report has the details. PKG According to the State Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters, floods have so far killed at least 94 people and left 78 others missing in 13 provinces since the start of this year's flood season. In central Hunan Province, torrential rains have left 36 people dead and 21 others missing. As of Sunday, the downpours have affected more than 3.6 million people in the province. The heavy rains and floods toppled 17,300 rural houses and forced the evacuation of 149,000 people across the province, with the direct economic losses estimated at about 340 million U.S. dollars.
