Promotional Clip on "Youth in Action" Programme. The "Youth in Action" programme for the period 2007 to 2013 aims to develop and support cooperation in the field of youth in the European Union (EU). It is designed to encourage young people, especially the most disadvantaged and the disabled, to participate in public life, and also to promote their sense of initiative, entrepreneurial spirit and creativity. To this end, "Youth in Action" defines general and specific objectives which are implemented through five actions. It has a budget of EUR 885 million and its operation is largely decentralised. It is accessible to young people aged from 13 to 30 in the Member States and in third countries.
